Among the gifts presented
to me on my birthday
yours no doubt was the
most substantial.
You will have learned
that my fresh attack of 

cancer is now treated by
Röntgen-Radium. The growth
is said to react nicely,
my personal reactions
are not so nice.

I have heard a rumour that
you may come over to London
in summer?
