    Dear Dr Brill

This is an appeal of scientific
    workers here for books and
    periodicals, sign of our
    present misery. Will you
be so kind to send it
    to publication in as many
    American scientific journals
as you can and to forward
it to the daily papers. We
    are badly off.

I could get no reply to my
    last letter from you nor
    could Jones, who was fer-
    vently waiteding for a clinical
    paper from your side.

    I had to repudiate Tannen-
    baum who claimed to my
    joining his new Journal
    brought out in connection
    with Stekel and Silberer
